Halkayan Industry and Trading P.L.C., entrenched its roots in the year 2016 as a trader and exporter of varied products including pulses and oil seeds like Red Speckled Beans, Light Speckled Beans, Kabuli Chickpeas, Soyabean, Red Kidney Beans, Chickpeas, etc., especially in the markets of Morocco, Uganda, India and Ghana. Currently, we only distribute pharmaceutical products, but we are planning to start manufacturing pharmaceuticals locally as we are in negotiation to acquire one pharmaceutical manufacturing firm. The first transaction of our company was made in June, 2017 and soon we began participating in lease land bid and acquired 902 meter square mixed use land at center of Addis Ababa. On this land, we have constructed our base of nine floors. Apart from this, we also set up our pharmaceutical manufacturing factory 20km away from Addis. At present, our head office is located in the building of our sister company, AGT Lideta subcity, woreda 03, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Also, our company was established with an initial capital of 3 Million.

Ownership

The owners of the organization is Dr. Mohammed Shikur, who is a Medical specialist and sub specialist at Gastrologist and an owner of Amine General Hospital and ST .Gebereal Clinic; shareholder of sheger water; Specter Laboratories PLC. The other proprietorship partner of our company is Mr. Heyder Kemal, who is into Accounting, Economics, Business Admin, etc. and also holds a degree in MSC in quality and organization excellence.
